Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (concussion) was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday, but he upgraded to full participation on Thursday, according to Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic. Kmet is on the right track to clearing the league's concussion protocol and playing this Sunday against the visiting New York Giants after he suffered a concussion in the Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The 26-year-old caught only one of his two targets for 10 yards in that game before leaving. Meanwhile, rookie Colston Loveland broke out to the tune of six receptions, 118 yards, and two touchdowns on seven targets. Although it appears that Kmet is trending in the right direction to play in Week 10, Loveland's big Week 9 performance may catapult him into TE1 duties in Chicago for the second half of the season. Kmet has a modest 10 catches for 142 yards and one touchdown on the year.--Keith Hernandez
