5 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cole Irvin is a strong candidate to start on Sunday in the series finale against the Braves, but it will depend on how the team uses their bullpen on Friday and Saturday. In his first taste of the big leagues this year, Irvin has gone 2-1 with a 5.48 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 18 strikeouts and six walks in three starts and one relief outing. He's also allowed four home runs in 21 1/3 innings and will be a very shaky deep league streamer against the potent Braves lineup if he toes the rubber on Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
