Cole Beasley Sitting Out With Leg Injury
1 year agoNew York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that wide receiver Cole Beasley (leg) is sitting out of his second straight training camp practice on Wednesday due to a leg injury. It remains to be seen how serious the leg injury is. In the team's preseason opener last week, Beasley caught four passes in the first quarter. The 34-year-old's big workload in the preseason opener could suggest that the Giants want to see Beasley earn a roster spot heading into the 2023 regular season opener. Even if he's able to make the team out of camp, Beasley will be buried in a crowded receiver room behind Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, Parris Campbell, rookie Jalin Hyatt, Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson.
