Clyde Edwards-Helaire Goes On Injured Reserve
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday with a high-ankle sprain that he suffered in Sunday night's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. It means that Edwards-Helaire will miss at least the next four games for the Chiefs, which basically makes him droppable in single-year leagues. CEH's injury makes both rookie Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon more attractive in fantasy, while Ronald Jones will serve in a change-of-pace RB3 role for KC moving forward. Expect Pacheco to lead the Chiefs backfield now, with McKinnon being more of the third-down/pass-catching back. It has been another disappointing season for Edwards-Helaire, as he has just 71 carries for 302 yards (4.3 yards per carry) and three rushing TDs in 10 games played, adding 17 catches for 151 yards and three more scores.
