Clyde Edwards-Helaire A Full Participant Thursday
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip), offensive tackle Mike Remmers (groin) and guard Andrew Wylie (ankle) were all full participants in practice on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Edwards-Helaire returned in the AFC Championship win over the Bills last weekend and should be good to go for the Super Bowl against the Buccaneers on Feb. 7. The 21-year-old had only six carries for seven yards and caught one pass for no gain in the win over Buffalo, but he could be a bigger part of the game plan against Tampa with two more weeks to get closer to full strength after a high-ankle sprain kept him out since Week 15. CEH will be the more popular DFS pick in the big game, but Darrel Williams will continue to be involved and will have sleeper appeal at a lower cost. Edwards-Helaire ran the ball 181 times for 803 yards and four rushing touchdowns in 13 regular season starts.
