Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (finger) will miss an eighth consecutive game on Thursday against the Miami Heat. After initially missing time for personal reasons, Capela was diagnosed with a ligament injury in the fourth metacarpal of his left hand. Following the diagnosis, he was ruled out for 3-4 weeks, meaning the 2024-25 regular season is likely over for Capela. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Swiss big man, who lost his starting job to Onyeka Okongwu in January. Okongwu has thrived in the role, averaging 14.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 1.2 steals. Dominick Barlow and Mouhamed Gueye will take on the backup minutes with Capela unavailable.--Taavi Pailk
