Christopher Bell Cannot Take Advantage Of Pole Position
2 years agoChristopher Bell was on the pole for the start of the Pala Casino 400 from Fontana, Calif., after practice and qualifying was washed (and snowed) out, but he failed to take advantage. Bell only led the first lap from the premiere position and he was caught up in the Stage 2 restart stack-up that eliminated four other drivers in the accident. Bell finished 32nd in the race after completing only 88 of the 200 laps at Auto Club Speedway. Bell will look to bounce back at Las Vegas next weekend at a track where he has had his share of struggles over the years en route to an average finish of 22nd over the last six races.

Christopher Bell Is One Of The Better All-Around DFS Options For Homestead
1 week agoChristopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing will start 16th for this week's Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This will be the lowest starting position of Bell's Cup career at Homestead since his first race at the site in 2020. In five starts at Homestead, Bell has five top-20 finishes, with four of them being 11th or better. With five races completed so far this season, Bell has three wins and four finishes with positive Place Differential. In practice, Bell ranked 21st in overall lap averages but displayed top-10 speeds in the five through 20 consecutive lap average categories. Considering his equipment, upside, and how Homestead is one of his better tracks, fantasy players should use Bell in all DFS formats as one of the better all-around picks of the week.

Christopher Bell's Quest For Four Wins In A Row Just Got More Difficult
2 weeks agoChristopher Bell is on a roll to start the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. In addition to winning at Atlanta a few weeks ago, Bell ended up in victory lane at both COTA and Phoenix over the last two weeks, giving the Joe Gibbs Racing driver three wins in just four races this year. Can he add a fourth at Las Vegas this weekend? Bell's No. 20 Toyota was definitely the car to beat the last time we were here (last October), but he's going to have his work cut out for him if he's going to compete for the win on Sunday. After qualifying 13th for this weekend's Pennzoil 400, Bell's No. 20 team changed the throttle body, which will require NASCAR's most recent winner to drop to the rear of the field at the start on Sunday. Despite this setback, though, Bell should still contend in the race. He has three top-five results in his last four starts at this track.

Christopher Bell Scores His Third Consecutive Victory Of The Season At Phoenix
3 weeks agoChristopher Bell was the driver to beat at Phoenix Raceway during the Shriners Children's 500. Beginning the race from the 11th position, Bell quickly showed that he had one of the top cars in the field as he made it all the way up to fourth at the end of stage one, scoring stage points. In the second stage, Bell took the lead on lap 94, and despite some challenges from William Byron and Joey Logano, he went on to win the second stage and earn more stage points. Bell would get challenged for the lead by several drivers during the final stage, but always ran towards the front, even through pit stops. The No. 20 Toyota driver was challenged by his teammate, Denny Hamlin, on the race's final restart. Hamlin nearly beat Bell as he kept the No. 20 side-by-side on the final corner, but the two made contact, and Bell barely edged Hamlin for the win in one of the closest finishes in Phoenix history. Bell won at Phoenix for the second time in his Cup career and won his third consecutive race of the 2025 season.

Christopher Bell Looking To Continue Dominant Ways At Phoenix
3 weeks agoFresh off of back-to-back wins at Atlanta and COTA, Christopher Bell now shifts his focus to Phoenix Raceway, a track where he absolutely dominated at last season. Will the Joe Gibbs Racing driver be able to grab his third Cup Series win in a row on Sunday? It certainly wouldn't surprise anyone. Bell won the spring race here at Phoenix last year by over five seconds, and then went on to lead 143 laps in the fall race before falling back and finishing fifth, allowing the Championship contenders to duke it out for the title. There is no reason to believe that he won't be able to contend for the win once again this weekend in the Shriners Children's 500. The No. 20 Toyota didn't blow the doors off of anyone in practice on Saturday, but CBell was fast enough to let everyone else know that he's still the guy to beat. He qualified 11th for this weekend's race, which gives him both dominator and Place Differential upside in DraftKings this weekend. Despite being the highest-priced driver on the slate ($11,000), Bell is a prime DFS option this weekend.
