1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) continues to sit on Wednesday against the visiting Miami Marlins. Tyrone Taylor is in left field and hitting sixth, Joey Wiemer is in center and batting in the nine-hole, and Sal Frelick is starting in right and batting eighth against Marlins left-hander Braxton Garrett. Yelich is apparently improving from back stiffness, but he hasn't played in a game since last Friday. Fantasy managers will want to check back to see if he's active for the series finale against Miami on Thursday. The two-time All-Star has had a resurgent year for the Brew Crew in 2023, hitting .274/.363/.435 with 17 home runs, 31 doubles, a triple, 70 RBI, 27 stolen bases and 97 runs scored in 136 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
