1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich (back) has returned to the starting lineup on Friday against the visiting Washington Nationals and right-hander Jake Irvin, starting in left field and batting leadoff for the Brew Crew. Yelich will return to the field for the first time in a week after dealing with some back issues. The 31-year-old left-handed slugger has had a solid year for fantasy managers in 2023, but keep in mind that he's gone just 7-for-46 (.152) with a home run, one double, three RBI, 20 strikeouts and nine runs scored in 13 games (12 starts) since Aug. 25. The Brewers will need his bat down the stretch and into the postseason, and fantasy managers are hoping he can finish off the year on a good note as well.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
