After an injury-marred 2024 campaign, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder/designated hitter Christian Yelich bounced back with a standout year in 2025. Across 644 plate appearances, Yelich posted a .264/.343/.452 slash line with 29 home runs, 103 RBI, 88 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases. 2025 also brought about some interesting changes in the veteran lefty-swinger's profile. Yelich boosted his barrel rate to 10.3%, his best full-season mark since his MVP season in 2019. However, the increased power came with a similar increase in whiffs. Yelich recorded a 25.9% strikeout rate, his highest since the shortened 2020 season. Now entering his age-34 season, Yelich is a difficult player for fantasy managers to value. If he stays healthy and puts together the best aspects of his profile, he could provide above-average production in all five roto categories. However, he's just one season removed from a 315-plate appearance campaign in 2024 and has had significant back injuries in his career. Yelich also played just 19 games in the outfield in 2025, so he may be limited to utility-only eligibility in certain fantasy formats. With a current composite average draft position of pick 98, Yelich brings the potential for significant upside but also comes with downside risk due to injuries and age-related decline.--Will Brady
