Christian Wood Records A Big Double-Double Against OKC
2 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Christian Wood had one of his best games of the season Sunday against the Thunder, leading his team in a 120-109 loss with 27 points and 16 rebounds. He also recorded a couple of assists, while shooting 8-for-13 from the field and 10-for-12 at the foul line with a 1-for-2 record from deep. Luka Doncic (ankle) missed the game and it gave Wood an opportunity to make a bigger impact on offense, but he ended up taking his usual number of shots. Spencer Dinwiddie and Tim Hardaway Jr. benefited most from the situation, combining for 40 points. Wood's fantasy stock seems to grow with each game, and he is now averaging 20.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks as a starter this season.
