The Boston Red Sox reinstated infielder/outfielder Christian Arroyo from the COVID-19 injured list on Friday. Arroyo will be inserted into the starting lineup immediately on Friday, starting at shortstop and batting ninth against Cleveland Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill with Xander Bogaerts getting the day off. The 27-year-old has been out since going on the COVID IL on June 15, and he was struggling before that in the month of June, so he won't be a popular addition to DFS lineups as a low-cost sleeper. Overall, he's hitting .187 with three home runs, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases in 34 games for the Red Sox as a utility player.--Keith Hernandez
