Montreal Canadiens defenseman Chris Wideman recorded a goal and assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss against Detroit. He helped Ryan Poehling to his first goal of the season early in the game and scored himself in the third period to tie things up at two. Wideman was plus-two for the night and recorded four shots with one block and one hit. The 31-year-old doesn't earn much playing time for the Canadiens, but he's eating up a lot of minutes on the power play and logged 4:10 with the man advantage on Saturday. Wideman has picked up two power-play assists this season and sits on five points with 12 games played.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
