4 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars activated running back Chris Thompson from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. Thompson will be ready to return in Week 9 against the Texans following the team's bye this week. The 30-year-old has been an afterthought in Jacksonville's backfield behind James Robinson, rushing the ball just six times for 17 yards. However, he's contributed 16 receptions on 19 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in six games, so he's useful as bench depth for fantasy managers in deeper PPR formats. If Robinson were to go down with an injury and miss time, Thompson would have RB2 upside in point-per-reception leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
