3 years agoCincinnati Bengals rookie running back Chris Evans (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the New York Jets. Wide receiver Auden Tate (thigh) is also questionable. The sixth-round rookie will miss his first game of the season after missing practice all week. Evans saw his biggest role in Week 6 with Samaje Perine on the COVID-19 list, carrying the ball four times for 18 yards and a touchdown and also catching all three of his targets for 49 yards and another score against the Detroit Lions. Those four carries are his only rushing attempts of the season, and he's caught five more passes in his other six games. Perine will continue to serve as Joe Mixon's backup in Week 8 against the Jets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
