Chris Carson Will Return To Practice Wednesday

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that he was told on Monday that running back Chris Carson (neck) will return to practice on Wednesday, but he cautioned the team will take it "one day at a time." Carson remains on Injured Reserve and has missed the team's last four games, so even if he was able to return for a Week 10 showdown with the Green Bay Packers, we suspect that the 27-year-old would be eased in next to Alex Collins and Rashaad Penny. If Carson continues to miss time, Collins should continue to be the primary running back. Collins hasn't been all that impressive since Carson landed on IR, but the Seahawks will be getting quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) back this weekend, which should help Collins' cause as an RB3/flex.
