Chris Bassitt Back From Paternity List
2 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays reinstated right-hander Chris Bassitt from the paternity list on Tuesday. Bassitt is back from a temporary leave from the team, and he'll make his next start on Wednesday in a tough matchup against the Houston Astros. The 34-year-old veteran starter has basically been a must-start in fantasy lineups each time he toes the rubber this year, as he's gone 6-4 with a 3.41 ERA (4.80 FIP), 1.07 WHIP, 26 walks and 65 strikeouts in 74 innings covering 12 starts in his first year in Toronto. His 4.80 FIP, however, points to some regression eventually, especially with a 21.5 percent strikeout rate and 34.5% hard-hit rate allowed.
