5/2:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer allowed only two runs Tuesday versus the Tigers. He lasted six innings while striking out six. He was unfortunate to take the loss as the Rays would only score once in the game. Archer is an elite strikeout pitcher who has had at least 233 K's in each of the past three seasons. His ERA has been disappointing this season, but Tuesday's outing was a positive sign. His next outing is against a very young but talented Atlanta offense.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
