The Kansas City Chiefs selected Tulane cornerback Thakarius Keyes with the 237th overall pick in the seventh round. Keyes has the physical traits to be effective in press coverage at the line in the NFL, but his recovery speed is suspect and he could be exposed deep down the field by quicker and speedier pass-catchers. He had 47 tackles to his name and one interception in 11 games in his final season in college.--Keith Hernandez
