Charlie Blackmon Homers Again
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon was a sticking point for a lot of fantasy owners last week when he had yet to hit a home run even though half of April was gone. Six days later, he's added 12 hits and three round-trippers to his season totals. He's also knocked a pair of triples and a double during the stretch. Blackmon may not have gotten off to the prettiest of starts, but it sure looks like he's back to being himself for now. He also may never hit 35-plus home runs in a season again, but he looks like a solid candidate for 28 to 30 home runs, a boatload of runs scored and a handful of stolen bases, and that's what his fantasy owners drafted him for.
