New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker's attorney, Patrick G. Patel, said he still expects charges against Baker to be dropped, possibly by the end of the week. The 22-year-old cornerback is out on bail after being arrested in connection with an armed robbery in early May. In the meantime, Baker continues to train on his own in Florida. He was told to stay away from virtual team meetings on May 17, and he's still not allowed to take part in any meetings. Patel previously said the case against his client was "complete garbage" and that Baker was a victim of a "shakedown." "I think we've got the case won, to be honest with you. I think it's only a matter of time," Patel said. Even if all charges are dropped, there's a chance Baker could still be suspended by the NFL for violating the league's personal-conduct policy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
