Chargers Planning To Keep Keenan Allen
2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said that "Keenan Allen isn't going anywhere." Telesco reiterated the point he made in January that it isn't tempting to part ways with Allen this offseason. There has been speculation that Allen could be a 2023 salary cap casualty because he's scheduled to have a $21.7 million cap hit this year while entering his age-31 season. Allen also played in just 10 games in 2022 due to injury and finished with 66 receptions for 752 yards and four touchdowns on 89 targets for the Bolts in a frustrating campaign for his fantasy managers. It sounds like he will be back in LA in 2023, but the Chargers will likely look to restructure his contract to lower his cap hit. Allen's fantasy value is likely highest in LA with quarterback Justin Herbert.
