Casey Mize Strikes Out Seven Yankees On Friday

Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Casey Mize had a strong outing against the New York Yankees on Friday. He pitched five innings and allowed five hits, no walks and one earned run while striking out seven. The only run came on a Rougned Odor solo home run in the fifth inning. Mize has now allowed exactly one run in four of his five starts in May. The fifth start wasn't much worse as he allowed two runs over six innings. He has a 1.74 ERA in May and a 3.28 ERA overall this season. Mize needs to be universally rostered at this point. Add him if it's not too late. His next start will be on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
