2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back) is "doing well" and will travel with the team on their west-coast road trip to Seattle and Los Angeles this week, according to manager Aaron Boone. Rodon is scheduled to throw another bullpen session on Monday. Rodon threw his first bullpen on Friday since receiving a cortisone injection for his balky back, and it went well. The 30-year-old southpaw is being brought along slowly after initially starting the 2023 campaign on the injured list with a left-forearm injury. Now his back is the main concern, but he's inching his way to what will likely be a lengthy minor-league rehab assignment. Fantasy managers are just hoping that they'll finally get to deploy Rodon at some point in June.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
