Carlos Rodon To Throw Bullpen Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back, elbow) threw a bullpen session on April 12, which manager Aaron Boone said was "less intensity" due to back stiffness that Rodon experienced earlier in the week. He felt good on April 13, though, and was able to play catch. Rodon is scheduled to throw a "split" two-inning bullpen session on Tuesday. Boone said Rodon's initially scheduled return of late April was "a little aggressive" after he was diagnosed with a mild strain of the brachioradialis muscle in his left elbow on March 5. The Yankees are taking things slow with their prized offseason acquisition, so fantasy managers should now expect the 30-year-old southpaw to make his Yankees debut in early May.
