Carlos Rodon Dealing With Back Tightness
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that left-hander Carlos Rodon (back, forearm) has back tightness that has delayed his plan to return by at least a few days. Already on the injured list with a left forearm injury, Rodon is now dealing with a back ailment that will cause him to temporarily pause his throwing program. Although it doesn't appear very serious, it's more disappointment for the 30-year-old southpaw after signing a big free-agent deal over the winter to join the Yankees. Rodon was able to stay healthy the last two years with the San Francisco Giants and was one of the best pitchers in baseball. Fantasy managers are hoping he'll be able to display that same ace form once he makes his debut with the Yankees, which probably won't come until May.
