Carlos Martinez Expected to Return on Tuesday
5/31:St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez (lat) is expected to return to the rotation on Tuesday against the Miami Marlins. That is, of course, assuming he experiences no setbacks in the next few days, including Thursday's rehab start. Martinez was off to a strong start, tossing 50 innings and posting a 1.62 ERA before hitting the disabled list.
