Carlos Correa Returns From Injury
Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (heel) is back at shortstop and is hitting cleanup for the Twins on Tuesday against the visiting Detroit Tigers and right-hander Alex Faedo. Correa missed the team's last game due to soreness in his left heel, but he's feeling fine now and is back in there on Tuesday. The two-time All-Star has been a pretty big disappointment in his second year for the Twins. Correa is currently hitting .230/.306/.409 with 15 home runs, 25 doubles, two triples, 54 RBI and 43 runs scored in 461 trips to the plate and 107 games. On the bright side, the 28-year-old Puerto Rican is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak in which he's gone 10-for-27 (.370) with three home runs, two doubles, nine RBI and five runs scored.
