Carlos Correa Returns From Injury
1 year agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (heel) is back at shortstop and is hitting cleanup for the Twins on Tuesday against the visiting Detroit Tigers and right-hander Alex Faedo. Correa missed the team's last game due to soreness in his left heel, but he's feeling fine now and is back in there on Tuesday. The two-time All-Star has been a pretty big disappointment in his second year for the Twins. Correa is currently hitting .230/.306/.409 with 15 home runs, 25 doubles, two triples, 54 RBI and 43 runs scored in 461 trips to the plate and 107 games. On the bright side, the 28-year-old Puerto Rican is currently riding an eight-game hitting streak in which he's gone 10-for-27 (.370) with three home runs, two doubles, nine RBI and five runs scored.
