Cardinals Will Listen To Calls For Third Overall Pick
2 years agoArizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort said the team will listen to trade calls for the No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft. Given the potential need for a team anxious to grab a quarterback in the top-five picks, it shouldn't come as a surprise. If the Cardinals don't end up trading away the third overall pick in April's draft, they'd most likely be looking to take a high-end defensive player with that selection. The Cardinals have a new GM and a mostly new coaching staff heading into the 2023 season, but they are expected to continue on with QB Kyler Murray (knee), who is not expected to be ready for the start of the 2023 season after tearing his ACL late last season.
