Cardinals Release Chosen Anderson
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals officially released wide receiver Chosen Anderson on Wednesday. The artist formerly known as Robbie Anderson will get a bit of a head start on the free-agent market in a move that was expected. The 29-year-old had the worst season of his career in 2022 with the Cardinals and Carolina Panthers, catching 20 of his 44 targets for just 282 receiving yards and one touchdown in 16 games (seven starts). After his trade to Arizona, he caught just seven of his 17 targets for 76 yards and no scores in the desert. The Cardinals will save $12 million in salary cap space with the move. Anderson has done very little since his only 1,000-yard season with Carolina in 2020.
