Cardinals Mulling Offers For No. 3 Pick
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals are currently mulling trade offers from multiple teams interested in moving to No. 3 overall in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft, according to sources. With the Cardinals invested in quarterback Kyler Murray long term, it's no secret that they'd like to move out of the third overall spot in the first round in order to accumulate more draft capital as they look to improve their roster at multiple positions. Trading back won't be easy, but it could become a lot easier if the Houston Texans pass on Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud at No. 2 overall. In that scenario, several QB-needy franchises would be very interested in leapfrogging the Indianapolis Colts at No. 4 to take a franchise signal-caller of their liking. Stay tuned.
