1 month agoThe St. Louis Cardinals met this week with the representatives of starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel, according to sources. The Red Birds are definitely looking to add a starter or two in the offseason. Keuchel, 31, signed late in 2019 with Atlanta and went on to go 8-8 with a 3.75 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 91 strikeouts in 112 2/3 innings over 19 starts. With Gerrit Cole, Stephen Strasburg and Zack Wheeler already off the market, Keuchel represents one of the cheaper left-handed starting options available. He won't jump off the page with swing-and-miss stuff, but his ground-ball profile could fit very nicely at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
