Cardinals Getting Inquiries For Third Overall Pick
2 years agoAt least six NFL teams have inquired with the Arizona Cardinals about trading up for the third overall selection in the upcoming NFL draft on April 27, according to league sources. The Cardinals are still mulling over whether to trade the pick or keep it. Quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) is rehabbing from a torn ACL suffered late last year and isn't expected to be ready for Week 1, but the Cardinals still view him as their franchise signal-caller and wouldn't be expected to take a QB at third overall this year. The Tennessee Titans (No. 11 overall) could be one of the interested teams as they look for a long-term QB to replace veteran Ryan Tannehill. The Carolina Panthers (No. 1) and Houston Texans (No. 2) are both fully expected to take a QB with the top two picks this year.
