New York Yankees pitching prospect Cam Schlittler will make his MLB debut on Wednesday at home against the Seattle Mariners, according to Talkin' Yanks. The Yankees have an open spot in their rotation after losing Clarke Schmidt, who will likely require Tommy John surgery. The 24-year-old Schlittler has thrown 76 2/3 innings across stints with Double-A Somerset and Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre so far in 2025. He's posted a 2.82 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 99 strikeouts. Schlittler has a clear runway to becoming a regular in the Yankees rotation with Schmidt likely done for the season, and he's shown enough in the minors to be on the radar of fantasy managers in all formats.--Will Brady
