4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the Week 4 game against the Chiefs. Newton will likely have to miss more than just one game as he quarantines, so his fantasy managers will have to reverse course quickly and go in another direction. It's really bad news for the Patriots and for Newton's fantasy managers, as he was looking for a bounce-back performance against KC this week after putting up a dud against the Raiders in Week 3. It's unclear if Jarrett Stidham is healthy enough to fill in this Sunday, but if he can't, it would be veteran Brian Hoyer under center. New England will still have to throw often to keep up with the Chiefs offense this week, but the move from Newton to either Stidham or Hoyer should cause you to downgrade both wide receivers Julian Edelman and N'Keal Harry this week and for however long Newton is out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
