Edmonton Oilers goaltender Calvin Pickard will be in goal for the club's contest Monday night against the hosting Florida Panthers. It's the netminder's first NHL appearance since March 27, 2022 while a member of the Detroit Red Wings while he has played just 12 games since the 2019-20 season. With Jack Campbell demoted to the AHL, Pickard was promoted and will serve as the club's backstop to Stuart Skinner while starting the first of a back-to-back for the Oilers Monday evening. He has had a strong start to the season with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors this season, posting a 2.03 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage in four games while he owns a 3.03 GAA and .903 Sv% across 116 career NHL contests.--Brenton KempRead More News
