Calvin Austin III's Stock Is Rising
1 year agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III has had some inconsistency at training camp, but he has really improved since the start of camp and is showing the capacity to be the playmaker the Steelers envisioned he could be in last year's draft. Austin has made several big plays since the start of camp and has grown more comfortable by the day. At the moment, he's competing for playing time behind Diontae Johnson and George Pickens and is hoping to steal some snaps from Allen Robinson II as a change of pace with his speed, quickness and run-after-the-catch ability. The 24-year-old missed his entire rookie year due to a foot injury, but he's healthy now and could have an impact in Pittsburgh's offense with his speed. For now, he's off the fantasy radar in the vast majority of leagues.
