Minnesota Wild defenseman Calen Addison ended a scoring slump with a goal and two assists in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Lightning, becoming the first rookie blue-liner in franchise history to have multiple three-point games. Sitting on 19 points, Addison is the top-scoring first-year defenseman in the league, but he tends to be very erratic with his production. He had seven points in October and enjoyed a good scoring spurt at the start of December, but there have many dry spells, including prior to Wednesday's action when Addison had posted only one point in nine games. Addison's offensive contributions are tied to Minnesota's success on the power play, as the 21-year-old has tallied 13 of his points with the man advantage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
