Caleb Shudak The Favorite To Win Kicking Job
1 year agoBoth Tennessee Titans kickers Caleb Shudak and rookie Trey Wolff were solid during offseason work, but TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt thinks Shudak is the favorite to win the job in training camp this summer. Shudak made his NFL debut last year in Week 12 in place of an injured Randy Bullock, and he went 3-for-4 on field goals and made his only extra-point attempt. That was the only game the 25-year-old appeared in, and he finished 2022 on the team's practice squad. Wolff, 23, signed with Tennessee as an undrafted free agent after going 42-for-52 on field goals and 107-for-110 on extra points in 45 games at Texas Tech. If Shudak does win the job to begin the year, he'll probably be on a short leash if he struggles.
