Los Angeles Kings goaltender Cal Petersen made 32 saves in a 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. The Waterloo, Iowa native earned his first win of the season. Petersen has started three games this season for Los Angeles, posting a 1-2-0 record. On Tuesday, Petersen was brilliant in the third period, having to fend off 13 shots between the pipes. The 26-year-old netminder now has a career regular-season record of 11-9-1.
