C.J. McCollum Breaks Out Of Slump
7 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum did a little bit of everything in his club's big win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. McCollum scored 28 points on an efficient 10-for-20 shooting and also went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. However, McCollum didn't just score in this one, he added eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks and a steal in his 37 minutes. McCollum shredded the Thunder defense off the bounce, either pulling up for jump shots or getting all the way to the rim. McCollum was slumping hard with his shot coming into this one, so hopefully this is the sign of a turnaround for him. His next game is against the Los Angeles Lakers, who have given up the fourth most points in the NBA this season at 110.0 per game. As a result, you should expect another strong performance from McCollum on Monday night.
