C.J. Kayfus Launches Two Home Runs For The Second Time This Week
6 months agoCleveland Guardians first base prospect C.J. Kayfus went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI on Wednesday evening. This was the second time this week that the 22-year-old tallied two long balls in the same game. Kayfus recently moved up to Double-A and has performed very well with a .371/.474/.758 slash line with six home runs, 21 RBI, and a 10:19 BB:K ratio through 18 games. The Miami product has progressed through the lower levels of the minor leagues rather quickly, as he is now just two stops away from the majors after just joining the Cleveland system in the third round of last year's draft. Kayfus is a name to keep a close eye on in dynasty leagues, as he is showcasing elite power and could reach the majors as soon as next summer.
