St. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris injured his index finger on Wednesday and was held out of Thursday's game for precautionary reasons. Norris' finger will be evaluated on Friday to determine whether he will need a stint on the disabled list. If Norris were to go on the shelf, Jordan Hicks would assume the role as closer and would be an immediate pickup in all leagues. Hicks owns a 2.42 ERA and a 38/23 K/BB ratio over 40 games.--Dan Fappiano
