Buccaneers Sign John Wolford To QB Room
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free-agent quarterback John Wolford to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday. Wolford will battle for a backup role in Tampa after spending the last three years as a backup for the Los Angeles Rams. In those three seasons, he played in only seven games (four starts) and completed 58.7 percent of his passes for 626 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions. The Bucs will have a quarterback competition at training camp this summer between Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask, so Wolford is set to serve as the No. 3 signal-caller in 2023 in his new home. The 27-year-old QB isn't anywhere near the fantasy radar.
