Buccaneers Defense has seen plenty improvement from last year, but losing Vea for the rest of the year would be a big blow, especially with the Packers coming to town in Week 6.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fear that defensive tackle Vita Vea (ankle) suffered a season-ending broken ankle in the Thursday night loss to the Bears, according to a source. Vea is undergoing an MRI exam on Friday to confirm. If it's confirmed, it'll be a big loss for Tampa's defensive line, as Vea had ranked in the top five among all defensive lineman in the NFL in his pass-rush grade this season. The 25-year-old has 10 combined tackles (six solo), three tackles for loss, three QB hits and two sacks in five games. The Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
