Bryan Reynolds Requesting A Trade
2 years agoContract-extension negotiations between the Pittsburgh Pirates and outfielder Bryan Reynolds are at an "impasse," causing Reynolds to request a trade. The word is that the Pirates still aren't planning to trade him this offseason, but many teams -- including the New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays -- could use the star center fielder. Unless a team blows the Pirates out of the water with a trade offer for Reynolds, the 27-year-old isn't expected to go anywhere this winter. After his first All-Star campaign in 2021, Reynolds followed it up with a .262/.345/.461 slash line with an .807 OPS, a career-high 27 home runs, 62 RBI, 74 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 145 games in 2022.
