Broncos Undecided On Melvin Gordon III's Week 6 Status
4 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio said the team is undecided on whether running back Melvin Gordon III will be active in Week 6 against the Patriots after being charged with driving under the influence this week. If the Broncos don't discipline him, the NFL certainly will, likely in the form of a two- or three-game suspension. Gordon wasn't seen at practice on Wednesday. It's a shame, since Gordon is coming off his first 100-yard rushing performance with the Broncos, and he also added two rushing scores in Week 4 against the Jets. If Gordon is somehow active this Sunday, he'll be more of a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 choice for fantasy managers with Phillip Lindsay (toe) set to return to the backfield. If Gordon starts serving a suspension this weekend, Lindsay could have immediate RB2 upside.
