The Denver Broncos are scheduled to visit with veteran free-agent linebacker Mark Barron on Thursday, according to multiple sources. The first-round pick in 2012 was a strong safety early in his career with the Buccaneers, but he's now listed at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. If he signs with Denver, he'd serve as an inside linebacker who can play in space, but he must first clear COVID-19 testing. The 30-year-old played in 15 games (nine starts) with the Steelers last year, recording 82 combined tackles (58 solo), one interception, three passes defensed and one fumble recovery along with three sacks. The Broncos may be looking to boost their linebacking depth with Todd Davis injured in training camp.--Keith HernandezRead More News
