4 years agoThe Denver Broncos placed second-round tenders on restricted free-agent wide receiver Tim Patrick and linebacker Alexander Johnson. The team also tendered exclusive-rights free-agent wideout Diontae Spencer, defensive back Trey Marshall and offensive lineman Calvin Anderson. The Broncos would receive a second-round pick as compensation if either Patrick or Johnson sign with another team. Spencer, Marshall and Anderson are highly likely to remain with the team in 2021. Patrick and Johnson were both starters in 2020, with Patrick stepping up as the team's leading receiver with six touchdowns after Courtland Sutton was injured early in the season. Patrick caught 51 passes for 742 yards in 15 games, but his production will likely take a big step back with Sutton returning in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
