Broncos Officially Waive DaeSean Hamilton
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos officially waived wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton (knee) with a non-football injury designation on Tuesday after he tore his ACL while training on his own last week. The Broncos were on the verge of trading Hamilton to the San Francisco 49ers last week, but his injury ended any chances of a deal happening. With Courtland Sutton returning from a torn ACL of his own, Hamilton would've been far down the team's receiving depth chart behind Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler and Tim Patrick. Teams likely would've been interested in Hamilton's blend of speed and athleticism, but he'll now likely miss all of the 2021 season. The 26-year-old had 81 catches (141 targets) for 833 yards and five touchdowns in his three seasons with the Broncos.
